Rulmeca, founded in 1962, is an Italian family company which has today developed into an international group specialized in the manufacturing and sale of rollers, motorized pulleys, pulleys, other components for the bulk and unit materials handling industry.
Rulli Rulmeca S.p.A., the Italian manufacturing unit of the Group, has joined the Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) Network Bergamo program in 2011 with the target of bringing all corporate healthy workplace activities to employees within the frame of a structured, internationally recognized program.
The WHP approach has stimulated the company to develop new initiatives which have found favorable ground in the company’s traditional attention towards solidarity, attention to the local community, care of individuals with the specific target of improving employees’ health and reducing possible risk factors. The systematic approach includes an annual WHP report which reviews the progress and potential gaps to be addressed.
