Global Healthy Workplace Summit Kicks Off Next Week in Brasília
Excitement is building as the 12th Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit begins next week, on 6th-7th November 2024, at the CNI Headquarters in Brasília, Brazil. This year’s summit promises to deliver insightful discussions on the future of workplace health and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on the health impact of climate change, mental health strategies, and the increasing market value of employers who prioritise wellbeing.
Hosted in partnership with Serviço Social da Industria (SESI), this prestigious summit returns to Brazil for the second time, following a successful edition in Florianopolis nine years ago. The summit will bring together world-leading experts, thought leaders, and employers who are redefining workplace health standards.
Delegates will hear from organisations that have successfully integrated health, wellbeing and safety into their business models, with presentations from this year’s Global Healthy Workplace Award finalists: Chevron (Singapore), DHL (Germany), Godrej Industries (India), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Petrobras (Brazil), and Tata Consultancy Services (India).
“This summit will highlight how employers worldwide are setting new standards in workplace health,” said Barry Crisp, Marketing Director of GCHW. “The innovations being showcased are more relevant than ever as we tackle pressing issues such as mental health, climate resilience, and the evolving nature of work.”
Rafael Lucchesi, Superintendent of SESI, added: “Hosting the 12th Global Healthy Workplaces Awards & Summit in Brasilia is an honor for the Social Service of Industry (SESI), which has worked so hard to take worker health beyond occupational issues. The summit that will be held here is strategic for companies to position themselves, encourage global best practices, and reward business initiatives to advance health and well-being in the workplace.”
The summit will conclude with the much-anticipated announcement of the 2024 Global Healthy Workplace Award winners, followed by a formal recognition ceremony.
