The Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces (GCHW) is delighted to announce that the 13th Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit will take place in Mumbai, India, on 20–21 November 2025. Held for the first time in India, the Summit will be delivered in partnership with leading non-profit Arogya World and hosted by strategic partner Godrej Industries Group at their iconic Godrej One campus.
The two-day international event will convene global leaders, health experts, employers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to advancing employee health and wellbeing.
“This is a unique time for employee wellbeing,” said Barry Crisp, Marketing and Communications Director at the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces. “Hosting our 13th Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit in Mumbai, alongside Arogya World and Godrej Industries Group, is a powerful opportunity to share global best practices and foster a culture of health. We believe that ‘Good Health is Good Business,’ and this Summit reinforces our mission to make workplace wellbeing a global priority across all sectors and regions.”
The Summit builds on over a decade of GCHW’s global leadership in workplace health promotion, including 12 summits held across nine countries and three virtual editions during the pandemic. Known for spotlighting innovation, resilience, and practical solutions, GCHW has consistently set international benchmarks in employee wellbeing. This year’s event in India will extend that legacy – offering a platform to share global best practices, promote cross-sector collaboration, and highlight India’s growing role in embedding health into core business strategy.
Ms Srabani Banerjee, Chief of Programmes at Arogya World, added: “Our work is centred around helping organizations integrate well-being into their business operations. By leveraging data and strategy, we guide companies toward socially responsible practices. We’re thrilled to bring this effort to a global stage with our partners.”
The Summit will also feature case studies and evidence-based programmes, including Arogya World’s MyThali nutrition initiative, Lifestyle Coach training, and Tobacco-Free Workplace strategy, offering delegates insights into high-impact practices adaptable across different regions and sectors.
Recognising excellence in action, the event will culminate with the summit highlight, presentations of the 2025 Global Healthy Workplace Awards finalists, honouring leading employers in the categories of Large Enterprises, and Multinationals for their outstanding contributions to employee health.
Speaking on the opportunity to host the Summit, Ajay Bhatt, Group Head of Corporate Services at Godrej Industries Group, said: “Creating healthier work environments goes far beyond routine wellness checks. Our collaboration with GCHW and Arogya World reinforces our long-standing belief that employee well-being is key to long-term success. We hope to motivate Indian businesses to adopt progressive approaches tailored to today’s complex work realities.”
The event promises to serve as a collaborative platform for businesses and institutions committed to advancing a healthier and more resilient global workforce, while also shining a spotlight on Indian innovation and leadership in this space.
